The alleged attackers were a 50 year old man and his 24 year old son. The father was killed at the scene during a confrontation with police, while the son was taken to hospital in critical condition. Authorities said the father had legally held a firearms licence since 2015 and owned six registered weapons. Investigators are now examining how those weapons were stored, monitored, and ultimately used in the attack.
